A Word from Josh: We started playing the Oregon Summer Fest in 2012 and played here five consecutive years before missing last year's event. It's nice to be back. The weather was ideal and we had a very fun night. A couple of Oregon locals made big impressions. Our buddy Jage Nichols made another cameo appearance with a stellar guest-vocal performance of "Hold the Line." Also in attendance was my good friend Jen Kewin. Due to serious chronic health issues she was not planning to come out tonight despite living only a couple of blocks from the park. But after hearing us sound check from her apartment she mustered up the strength not only to attend the show, but to dance the night away with friends. She simply was not going to be denied. It was great to see her having such a good time and her enthusiasm was infectious. She reminds us all that we need to appreciate every day we have on this planet and do what we can to make the most of it. -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
