A Word from Josh: Now, this is more like it! After last night's rather lackluster show in Fond du Lac, tonight was awesome with a great crowd that filled the room and electrified the atmosphere all night. The ironic thing was that, as wet and miserable as conditions were last night, tonight's weather was much worse! Freezing rain and blowing snow caused some other music venues to cancel their bands, especially in more rural areas. Lucky for us, the Saloon on Calhoun is situated such that cancelling was not necessary and we actually ended up having a hugely successful show and the kind of good time that we've come to expect at this venue. Some people are just determined to go out and party regardless of the weather and we were beneficiaries of that. By the time we got home after the show there were several inches of snow on the ground which is very unusual for mid-April even in Wisconsin. We are only a couple weeks away from our first outdoor festival-style show of the year. We hope that the snow melts by then. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
