A Word from Josh: It has been 13 days since our last show and, while that might not seem like a long time, when you play as often as we do, a two week break can screw with your head... or at least it can screw with MY head. That's how I felt much of the first set as I made a handful of odd mistakes on songs I've played hundreds of times before. I felt a general sense of absent-mindedness. Maybe it was just because I hadn't had any Taco John's yet. Fortunately, the rest of the band seemed to be doing just fine including Andy who has been recovering from the flu. We drew a pretty good crowd consisting of the usual combination of new and familiar faces who rocked out with our show to great effect. However, to be honest, considering that the Backstage Bar never charges a cover, I would think we should totally pack the place. I may be a bit biased, but I really think a free Cherry Pie show is well worth the price of admission. Let's keep that in mind as we look forward to our next visit here in April on Friday the 13th!! -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Karen: "AWESOME Time" |
