A Word from Josh: I arrived at tonight's venue straight from O'Hare Airport upon returning from a four day vacation with my wife in Cancun, Mexico. Normally coming off of such a pleasant trip and returning immediately to work would be a rude awakening, but not when your job is to rock with Cherry Pie. But, despite my good mood, it became pretty obvious to me during our first set that I was pretty jet-lagged and an overall sense of fatigue fell upon me for the rest of the night. Still, I was very happy to be doing what I'm doing. Upon observing the crowded dance floor during a Bon Jovi ballad, I was reminded that sensual groping between two consenting adults is a sweet part of life. I commented on how some politicians and movie stars have been giving groping a bad name by behaving inappropriately with unwilling partners. I urged everyone to "take groping back" on behalf of the vast majority of nice people who do it the right way. I concluded by saying, "Make America grope again!" OK, I think that's a pretty funny play on words but, admittedly, prone to tragic misinterpretation. Did I mention that I just got off a plane from Mexico? After a good night's sleep in my own bed I promise to be thinking more clearly tomorrow. -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
