A Word from Josh: In the long history of this band we've seen many venues come and go. In Madison we've seen the loss of the Dry Bean Saloon and the Badger Bowl and we tried to replace them with the Club Tavern, the Red Zone and Bowl-A-Vard. Our first time at the Bowl-A-Vard was this past January and we had a spectacular night with a huge crowd. It was enough to make us eager to return, although we knew that it may have been a fluke. Tonight showed that it was no fluke. We enjoyed another great crowd and had an amazing time. The view from the stage was a sea of faces, many of them familiar but a lot of new ones too. Mixed into the crowd were members of other bands including Pilot and Denim n Leather. Andy gave them a shout out and encouraged everybody to continue to support live music including his old band Kings of Radio which now features our former singer Johnny Spandex on lead vocals. It's all part of a vibrant live music scene in Wisconsin that we are proud to be a part of. Another thing that was special about tonight was the debut of our new light show. We recently acquired a bunch of lighting gear. Teri, Matt, Frankie and Kevin have been working hard to put the show together. It will be a work-in-progress for a while. I think it already looks great and it will only get better. -Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
