A Word from Josh: This is year three of our annual trip to Bent's Camp. This is a unique gig, basically set up as a working vacation with some members of the band and crew coming up three days early to enjoy the scenic Northwoods. This time I was able to convince my wife to come along and she loved it. The show itself is on a small stage in a moderate-sized tent with only a couple hundred people attending. But the crowd is very intense and they sing along very loudly. I can only imagine how far away the show could be heard as the strong sounds of 80s rock drifted over the hills, through the trees and across the water. I have no doubt that we could be heard in upper Michigan. The state line is only about a mile north of us at the far point of Mamie Lake which abuts Bent's Camp. I don't know if any of the people or wildlife within earshot objected to the din which went until 12:15 am, but I didn't hear about any complaints. Our good friend Charles Thomas filled in for John on lead vocals, doing a great job as he has done many times before. He knew what a good time it would be because he sang with us at our Bent's Camp debut two years ago. He was a blast to hang out with. -Josh Were you at this show?
