A Word from Josh: This was the 4th of July festival that we had played five years in a row before doing something different last year. Well, in 2017 we're back in New Berlin for this most American of holidays. I'm glad to see that not much has changed. With the gracious cooperation of the weather, this event was as epic as ever and we tried our hardest to live up to the hype. As usual, we played in the East Tent. Tonight, the West Tent was being rocked by our friends The Cheap Shots. Add all the food, games, rides and (of course) fireworks, there was no lack of entertainment. This was our unprecedented fifth show in a row. I feel that we did a good job of pushing through any fatigue we felt and there was no doubt that we've never been musically tighter. Our tent drew a good crowd that went a long way to keeping up our energy level and we were delighted to return the favor. Our show-ending Metallica medley led appropriately into an elite fireworks display that put the perfect exclamation point on a wonderful, patriotic day. Putting this five day musical marathon behind us, we head home with a smile and a couple of days to relax the fingers and vocal chords before returning to the stage this weekend. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? (Anonymous): "First time we saw Cherry Pie and thought u guys were awesome! I only made it to the last 10 songs or so and watched from a picnic table with my teen daughter. This was her 1st real band concert and she loved it. U should visit Eau Claire sometime. Hope to make it down again next year for the 4th!! Thank u!!" Nicole: "Brady loves cherry pie!! Thank you for an awesome time!"
