A Word from Josh:
It always great when a fun Holiday like Halloween falls on a weekend. There's just something more authentic about celebrating with a crazy off-the-hook Halloween party on the Holiday itself. We already played one "proxy Halloween show" last week in Muskego and that was great. Tonight was sure to be even better. We played the Halloween show at the Club Tavern two years ago and that was amazing. Tonight was not quite as well-attended, but Halloween is always going to be a fun time. Frankie and I took the stage in the same costumes that we wore last week at AJ's. He was a very dapper 20s-era gangster and I was a grotesque nerd. This time Kase also got into the act portraying a character from "The Crow." John and Dave opted not to go the costume route. As one would expect, the costumes in the audience made for an over-abundant source of entertainment for everybody in attendance throughout the night. One thing I noticed about these past two shows was that Frankie, perhaps inspired by wearing such an old-fashioned suit, played many of the songs using traditional grip (if you don't what that is Google it) which I've never noticed him doing before. I thought that was an interesting twist. Thank you to Moose and the staff at the Club Tavern for another exciting Halloween experience. We'll see you again on December 12.     --Josh
