A Word from Josh: This was a very interesting night and not just because of the great show for a fun crowd. I arrived with a moderate case of World Cup Fever but very quickly we were all caught up in a completely different topic of conversation... As we were setting up our gear calls began coming in from family and friends reporting about the ugly cancelation of the Rockesha concert at the Waukesha County Expo Center. What a bizarre scenario. A few of the disappointed concert-goers made their way to Marshall where we gladly gave them the type of show they were yearning for. Another thing on our collective minds was the weather. Last year's Cherry Pie show at Marshall was infamously cut very short by a severe storm. Weather was a concern today as well, but no rain fell all evening to the delight of all those in attendance. However, a significant downpour early in the day had left the ground in much of the beer garden very muddy, especially near the stage. This proved to be a bit of challenge for people who were motivated to dance. Still, this was a far better circumstance than last year and for the most part, people seemed to have fun with the muck. We appreciate the festival for having us back again and hopefully we'll have a completely dry experience here next year. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
