A Word from Josh: The Mount Horeb Summer Frolic beer tent is actually two tents set up right next to each other. One contains the beer and the other houses the music. We knew we'd need both tents tonight because it was raining most of the day. We worried about a poor turnout. But the place filled up quite nicely. I suppose a few people may have stayed home due to the bad weather, but we didn't need those pussies around anyway. We had a great night and it started with the opening act; an eccentric blues band called The Ear Strippers. They were a lot of fun. Our show got underway in a big way with some help from a new addition to our show... CO2 blasters (like big fire extinguishers, but without the mess). This was soon followed by the kind of crowd craziness that we've come to expect from Mount Horeb over the past three years. Our break was livened by a fireworks display and then we were back to work strutting our stuff until the powers that be ordered us to stop. Another great time in Mount Horeb. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? : "" |
