A Word from Josh:
I suppose you could say the 85th time's a charm. Indeed, this was one of our more memorable Badger Bowl shows for several reasons. First of all, there were at least three birthdays being celebrated with cakes and everything (you know that got my attention). One of the birthday celebrants was none other than our own beloved staff photographer Joëlle who, in addition to turning the big THREE-OH, is also recovering from recent emergency surgery. So, she had multiple reasons to repress a despairing dread of her own mortality with the help sugary treats and 80s Rock. What a party!! The other big deal about tonight was the amazing overtime win by the University of Wisconsin men's basketball team over Arizona to advance to the Final Four. The place was packed with people watching the game and we couldn't start our show until it was over, which turned out to be after 10 o'clock. The thrilling victory provided a tangible electricity in the air as we took the stage and rocked a room full of happy Badger fans. Because of the delay in our start time we cut our break time in half (yes, we really did) and put on a full show on this very exciting night. And, guess what, these exciting circumstances repeat themselves NEXT SATURDAY when we play at AJ's in Muskego. The Badgers will play Kentucky starting at 7:49. We'll be watching the game in the bar with all of you and then we'll rock the house down as soon as the game is over. Rock 'em Bucky!! -Josh
