A Word from Josh:
"Shakin' the Shack" has been a Cherry Pie tradition for several years now. We're very proud of how's it has grown over that time. A new twist this year was that much of the money raised went directly to one Fond du Lac family who's 2-year-old son was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia this past fall. His outlook is good, but ongoing treatments are quite burdensome. As always, the event is made possible by the hard work of our good friend Lisa Mick and strongly supported by the owner of The Shack Johnny Snider who is a cancer survivor himself. The Shack is a great room which really facilitates our full stage and light show which is why I personally believe that this is the best room to see us play. This is also why I feel frustrated that this show was not photographed or captured on video (seriously, we looked really good,... We really did). Anyway, another notable event occurred earlier in the day when Cherry Pie fans Carl "Chubbs" Reible and Emily Dieringer got married in nearby Lomira. Their Best Man James Kloetzke surprised them by hiring John and myself to perform at their reception. It was great fun. Later on the happy couple made it to the Shack to join our party. All part of a memorable night in Fond du Lac.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Spike:
"Thanks again for making the wedding of Emily and Chubs memorable and priceless!! You guys are class acts!!!"

Bittersweeteus:
"Just like, "every night has it's dawn", CherryPie has a killer show. Tonight was no exception. It was good but it had it's moments. The CP guys played those 80's classic rock songs with electrifying results. And John, who sometimes seems to be "searching in the darkness" for crowd participation always prevails and can get the crowd somewhat dancing and having a good time with the band. This was a half decent night of partying with the PIE. But it was commendable that these five talented guys, which also includes the stage tech, give their all for a benefit like this one tonight. A benefit for a precious little boy who has the strength and courage to fight for his young life from a dreaded disease. My heart and prayers go out to this family!"

Chubbs:
"Yes, well done. We will never forget it! Thanks for adding to our most memorable night."
