A Word from Josh: We played this event once before, six years ago, and it was great to be back. St Greg's boasts three large music stages, each featuring a top notch local act performing simultaneously; something you don't normally see outside of Summerfest or State Fair. On this night we shared the fest with our good friends The Barbeez and outstanding country band Rebel Grace. I was able to catch a couple songs from each band during our break which was a real treat. The atmosphere was great following heavy rains earlier in the afternoon which gave way to a very pleasant evening perfect for fun, friends and music; and we had plenty of all three. It can easily be argued that West Allis is the geographical center of the Cherry Pie world which would explain the amazing support we received from an unbelievable crowd filled with countless familiar faces. Some of them arrived early to see me play a solo acoustic set before the Pie show; Yes, I opened up for Cherry Pie, a little weird but cool. Believe it or not, we still have a couple outdoor shows left on the calendar. Summer 2012 has been great and we don't want it to end. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Teresa: "Thanks for the awesome show guys! So glad I got to be there...Keep on Rockin!" Katie: "I could watch Frankie play the drums all day! totally hot! great show guys!" Dawn: "had a great time" Trish: "Had a blast! And one can never get enough of watching Frankie on the drums!" Bittersweeteus: "What an awesome show! You guys put on a show that was stoked and off the wall crazy! The crazy train of rock was definitely roaring down the tracks with speed and smooth riding to the end. The song set was fantastic and kept that train fueled. And John, who possesses lots of energy and agility and has the "Looks that Kill", was the engineer of this train and kept everyone aboard rocking and enjoying every inch of this high energy pact ride. I have to say, I really enjoyed myself this evening and was totally captivated and inspired throughout the evening. You guys sure do know how to put on one outrageous rocking show! Keep it Strong, keep it Loud and Rock will never die!" TBONE: "Another great show! 80's Rock Lives On!" |
