A Word from Josh:
We played at North Fondy Fest last year and had a delightful time, so we were pleased to be asked back this year. This is one of those medium-sized festivals that somehow manages to rock it up good for the band while maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere. The weather cooperated for our show but it did rain pretty heavily earlier in the day. This resulted in large deposits of water on top of the awning above the front half of the stage. From underneath we could see it ominously sagging under the weight as we prepared our equipment. So, shortly before showtime a local crew pulled out a ladder and a bucket and scooped most of the water out. It's a good thing they did because late in the show some water did bust loose and fall on the stage which would have been much worse if they hadn't. Overall, the show went well and we felt a great vibe all night. Frankie let my 16-year-old son Ben come up and play a song on drums. I might be a bit biased, but I think he did a great job. One of the songs we recently added to our show is "Come Sail Away" by Styx. It has been going over huge with audiences, but tonight it carried extra meaning because of a special heart-felt dedication John made to a local family who recently lost one of its members. In the end, another fun show in North Fondy. Hopefully we'll be back again next year.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"This was a small festival but when it comes to children, they are thrilled to ride the rides and just enjoying their carefree little lives. Now, CherryPie, they are the entertainment for us big kids at heart. They provide great music and fun-filled antics. They always provide a wild time and make us feel one with the band. And John, the frontman of this awesome band and who is always easy on the eyes, can put a smile on our faces with his intoxicating smile and his fun-loving spirit. This was one awesome show from, Josh's son, Ben, doing a fantastic job playing the drums for the song, "Crazy Train", Dann doing a great job on singing the Kiss song, "Beth", and most of all, John, who showed concern for the young rockers in the crowd and plus, showing his compassionate side by dedicating the song, "Come Sail Away", to a fallen angel, Jeff, who was a loving husband and a rock'n'roller at heart. Yeah, I do have to say this was one show that needs to be put in the book of memories of CherryPie shows."
