A Word from Josh: The stage at The Bar is a temporary one placed in a large doorway and makes for an odd-shaped and somewhat cramped place to perform. But when the room is packed with crazy rockers like it was tonight, the state of the stage doesn't seem to matter so much anymore. Oshkosh has been treating us real good as of late and we've been eating it up. We were glad to see the Van Pay clan out in full force as well as members of Kindred Soul and many other familiar faces who came out from Oshkosh, Appleton, Fond du Lac and other nearby places. One very familiar face in attendance belongs to our good friend Jody who came down from Appleton with her boyfriend Kevin after having not been to a Pie show in quite a while. Thanks to everybody who squeezed into The Bar and rocked our world. Keep in mind that on April 21 we'll be playing just down the road in Fond du Lac for the annual "Shakin' the Shack" event to fight cancer. See you there. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Renee: "Thanks for another great show. I am still sore from dancing." Bittersweeteus: "What a great way to send off the weekend. Watching CherryPie do what they do best, and that's, rocking our night away! When these five talented guys blend together their own unique musical talents, it produces a sound that cuts right through you. And John, who has the most endearing charisma, possesses very strong vocals that when he sings, it gives you a chill that goes through your very soul. Plus, he knows how to bring out the rocker that lies within ourselves. This was one awesome night. I also want to congratulate you on being nominated for the WAMI award. I wish you the best of luck in winning it for which you are all deserving!" |
