A Word from Josh: It's been five weeks since we last played a show, so it should come as no surprise that our set list is full of asterisks. That means we played a lot of songs for the first time tonight... a LOT of songs. The revamped show went over well with the 300 or so people crammed into the Club Tavern, a 140-year-old building that isn't much bigger than my house. The result was an electric atmosphere in close quarters. Club owner Moose and manager Amelia were awesome to work with as they typified the great vibe we experienced all night. We mourn the recent demise of both Scatz and the Dry Bean Saloon, but they still love their 80s Rock on Madison's west side, and the Club Tavern is stepping up to deliver. We look forward to returning here November 12th. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Julee: "First time I saw you guys and it won't be the last! You guys rocked! Thank you for an awesome time! You guys ROCK!!!" Jeff: "Great Show! I loved all new songs and the acoustic set." Travis: "Great show guys. The new stuff was awesome. It felt like half the show was new that night. We had a blast and it was fun watching you enjoy yourselves as well." Bittersweeteus: "After a five week hiatus, these guys came back fresh and renewed. The venue this night was somewhat unique. No dance floor to speak of, but it didn't deter the fans from packing in the front of the stage. The guys performance was strong and kick ass awesome. And John, whom still looks great, certainly utilized that small stage to rock and roll each and everyone of us. It is great to have these guys back! I sure did miss them!" Pie fans: "Awesome show guys! Liked the new songs you did. Loved the variety in the music as well. You guys know how to put on a show! See you again soon-Keep on Rockin!" Melisa: "Great set list additions."! Sandie: "Great as always. Could be bigger venue but still had fun. Maybe have band members walk into the crowd when possible." |
