A Word from Josh:
This was a bizarre night from start to finish. Things got off to an inauspicious start when our production company arrived at the venue to find a wedding reception taking place, complete with a band performing on the stage that we were to play on. This pushed back our set-up schedule by more than three hours. An extraordinary effort on the part of the crew during the frantic set-up, along with a fortuitous lack of technical problems, enabled our show to begin only about 15 minutes late. Once underway, the atmosphere felt rather unworldly as the crowd kept their distance from the stage for the first few songs. Their cautious enthusiasm seemed more appropriate for a round of golf than a rock show. Of course, they eventually came around and eventually proved to be quite vocal on the sing-along portions of the show. Now, I've worked with John in the music business for over 12 years and I have never seen him act so goofy for an entire show like he did tonight. His sense of humor was a bit warped and included singing parts of songs while impersonating such luminaries as John Wayne and Elmer Fudd. This put us all in a very relaxed mood and we had a lot of fun. As is often the case, there were many people celebrating birthdays tonight, including my girlfriend Tammy. Earlier in the day she had been feeling a bit under the weather, but there's nothing like live 80s Rock and a steady stream of alcoholic beverages to keep her floating on air. We had a lot of fun right up to the end of the show when poor clock management on our part resulted in an abrupt end with no encore. We would encourage all of those screaming for more to drop in on our show down the road at the Brat Stop in a couple of weeks.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Jennie:
"Awesome nite! Great to see all the familiar faces. And be back at Kelly's. My bro also celebrated his bday and we had a blast! Bummed winter will be setting in but The Pie makes it all better! :)"

Bittersweeteus:
"Somewhere in the distance, long way out of the nearest town, you'll find a nice venue called, Kelly's Bleachers. Once inside, you'll find enough room to have a few drinks while you chat with friends, play pool, or dance your heart out. CherryPie was the entertainment for the evening and they fit the bill nicely. They opened with a thunderous prelude song which lead into a diverse songlist. Now there's John, whom took an 180 degree turn from a week ago and seemed more himself, which the way it should be. He's one eye-catching, attractive man to watch as he utilized the stage and surrounding areas to keep the crowd motivated. There were a few setbacks in the beginning, but with the way John entertained us with his jovial antics and debonair charm, and the band banging out those hard rocking 80's songs, it turned out to be one energetic, fun-loving night!!"

fan:
"Well, we were unable to make this show, but we are going to Rooters on the 14th. I expect to see the same excitment !! :)"
