A Word from Josh:
I am a pretty nostalgic guy by nature and so any trip to Appleton has special meaning for me. Mill Creek is located just a few blocks from the elementary school I attended back in the 70s (ouch!). Of course the bar is also good for music nostalgia with all the 80s rock videos they like to play. Some of these songs are epic classics while others have been lost to obscurity (some of them for good reason). Then, of course, we try to do our part to bring the best of that era to life every time we take the stage. The room here is pretty small, so it always makes for a crowded atmosphere. But it really wasn't our best night. John had some fun with a Bachelorette Party during the second set. But the overall energy level dropped pretty much after that. Still, as I've said before... a mediocre Cherry Pie gig is still better than most other things one could do on a Friday night. Plus, we managed to stay in good spirits knowing that we were going to be treated to some awesome pizza after the show. Thanks Toe-Knee and everybody else for a another enjoyable time at Mill Creek.     --Josh
