A Word from Josh:
We've been enjoying an awesome summer and it's only half-over. We've had some great shows at places that have become traditional stomping grounds for The Pie. In contrast, tonight begins a stretch of shows at venues we've never played before. Ooo, the mystery is intoxicating. So, what did we learn tonight? Well, as it turns out, Fond du Lac puts on quite a County Fair. Lots of rides, lots of livestock, lots of food and lots of top-notch music. An impressive "Main-Stage" featured the legendary Guess Who who sounded great in front of a huge crowd undeterred by a light rain that came and went all evening. It was our job to rock the nearby beer tent with sets both before and after The Guess Who's performance. Our first set went quite well as we entertained a couple hundred early-birds who weren't afraid of a little daylight. By contrast, our second set, which followed an eventful break of almost two hours, was wild and crazy in the finest traditions of Cherry Pie. The tent was packed and the 80s Rock radiated through the crowd like a nuclear bomb late into the night. We thoroughly enjoyed the enthusiasm on display. Kudos to Fond du Lac for a County Fair well-done.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"There's nothing like getting into a revved up, souped up, classic 80's muscle car. That's the way CherryPie makes you feel as they perform those Classic 80's rock songs. These guys come up on stage fueled up and ready to cross that starting line full throttle and pedal to the metal. As we go down that road of rock'n'roll, John, our driver, knows how to control that high-speeding demon with his strength, stamina, and perserverance. The CP guys gave us one hell of a ride in that classic shiney 80's rocking machine and it eventually ended so we all could get out and get our feel back on the ground. I know I enjoyed that ride and sorry it had to end. But, I'll never forget the ride and the scenery I saw along the way."

Jeanne Rockow:
"As always, you guys put on an awesome show! My friends and I always love seeing you all rock out on stage! A few months ago you played in Appleton at a bar (the name's escaping me at the moment) and we waited in line for over an hour to actually see you! It was well worth the wait! :)"
