A Word from Josh: Judging from tonight's turn-out, it appears that Madison may be just waiting for the outdoor festival season to start. But tonight also reaffirmed the adage that a less-than-stellar Cherry Pie show is still far better than a swift kick to the groin. Indeed, while tonight's crowd was a bit thinner and less boisterous than usual, there was still no place else I would have rather been. The 80s Rock kept the dance floor full all night so you know we had a great time. By the end of the show a heavy rain was falling outside which made us wish we could just camp out at the Bean all night. We eventually packed up our stuff and headed out into the wet darkness, looking forward to tomorrow night's show. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Bittersweeteus: "As this cool, rainy, evening began, it seemed somewhat questionable if there was going to be a half descent turnout. But as it got closer to the arrival of CherryPie to appear on stage, the bar seemed to fill up quite nicely. As CherryPie opened up with an awesome rock song, the fans were just a bit hesitant to come up on the dance floor, but with John's persuaveness and willingness to go out into the crowd, the dance floor slowly filled up with the fans ready to party and have a rocking time. CherryPie poured out each song with strength and electricity. And John, who looked quite appealing as he moved across the stage, entertained us with assertiveness and stamina. CherryPie put on a hard rocking show from start to finish. "I Can't Explain" what it is about this band, but I find them very addictive and I know I definitely don't want to break this habit. Rock Hard and Rock Loud!" cindy: "Great seeing you boys again! Awesome show as usual. Thanks for doing my favorite song Swenner! You totally sing it better than Bon Jovi! You rock! Love you guys and hope to see ya at Summerfest!" |
