A Word from Josh: This is a show we take a lot of pride in. The Shakin' the Shack Benefit was conceived three years ago by Lisa Mick with Cherry Pie in mind. Since then she has really turned it into quite an event as evident from tonight's spectacular turn-out. The Shack is a nice room with the type of stage that makes a show like ours look really good. The silent auction was a lot of fun and the crowd was a blast. It was impossible to not be in a great mood, especially when the hot chicks in the front row were putting on a show of their own. We enjoyed hanging with many of our friends from this part of the state. Even packing up at the end of the night was a festive undertaking with plenty of food, freinds and fun. Plans are already underway for next year's 4th annual event. But you Fond du Lac residents don't have to wait that long to see us again. We'll be in Oshkosh next Saturday and we'll be at the Fond du Lac County Fair on July 17th. If tonight's energy is any indication, those shows are sure to be spectacular. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? CoCo: "We Lodi gals always enjoy a show "on the road", this one was especially nice since JEEVES our favorite chauffer had the driving responsibilites well in hand! The silent auction was fantastic.. KiKi "won" her basket.. and our fav Lodi "Diva" was the proud recipient of a basket full of "special" intimate items... he got the wine.. the gals took the rest! All in all, a night that started strangely, with an EARLY ARRIVAL and songs by the local rugby team, ended in the long drive home not being that long at all.. thanks to the "TACO PARTY IN OUR MOUTHS", ( a quote from our very own CeeCee) and the wit and wisdom that we all shared with eachother regarding the evenings festivities! We'll be back next year!!" Laurie: "Thanks so much for a great performance. I had a blast! See you at the fair. Your friend from Sheboygan, Laurie" Kristina: "this was the first time my boyfriend got to see you guys...you rocked the house and gained a new fan. i of course already loved you. see you at the fondy fair." Bittersweeteus: "It was a welcoming sight to see so many patrons come out to support a much needed foundation and plus to enjoy the entertainment of CherryPie. These patrons were already revved up before CherryPie hit the stage. Once CherryPie started performing, there was not a problem here with the crowd coming close to the stage. This rambunctious, group of raring to party patrons, were more than eager to join in the fun. CherryPie put on a phenominal performance filled with great songs and fun-filled antics. And John, who has the most irresistible charisma and fun-loving personality, gave an outstanding performance of his own by the way he accentuated each song. Which in turn, made the crowd hunger for more. I had a lot of fun dancing and partying with CherryPie. Plus, it's commandable that these guys are always willing to give their time and support to this or any other benefit. And, you can also depend on them to be in the ring to help kick cancer's ass!" Greg Godina: "This was my first time not just at The Shack, but also in Fond du Lac as well! I will say my wife and I enjoyed ourselves at this wonderful venue to enjoy this important fundraiser. Thanks Lisa!!" Laurie: "Thanks so much for a great performance. I had a blast! See you at the fair. Your friend from Sheboygan, Laurie" Karen: "Thanks for a AWSOME night out. You guys are the best. We had a great time . See you in July. Your friend from Sheboygan Karen." |
