A Word from Josh:
This was quite a night with lots of ups and downs, mostly ups. But nothing was further down than the temperature outside. But that didn't seem to deter anybody from going out for a good time. The place was packed which provided plenty of heat inside the bar. Another down came early in the show when Dave's guitar amp went on strike. But you should know by now that when you give Cherry Pie lemons we make margaritas... strong ones. While Dave and his crew were trying to get things fixed the rest of us worked hard to keep the crowd entertained. John started out with a few jokes. Then our friend Misty came on stage and sang an impressive version of "Mercedes Benz." After that I took the opportunity to play a sentimental song I wrote about the trees in my backyard called "Morning Wood." This was a task made challenging by a woman who came up on stage and repeatedly grabbed my guitar while I was trying to play. It felt like I was trying to sing on an episode of American Gladiators. Fortunately the crowd stuck with us through the delay and I think we rewarded them with a strong show. John was in good spirits despite having to sing through a bad cold that was rubbing his throat raw. The mob of people on the dance floor did their part in helping sing many of the tunes. It was one of the loudest crowds we've hear in a while. The energy stayed high right to the end. Nobody was in a hurry to leave and face the frigid conditions outside. Thanks to everybody who made this such a hot night.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Erin:
"awesome show guys!!!"

Bittersweeteus:
"Oh hell yeah, CherryPie stepped up to the plate and hit a grand slam! They slammed those songs with such force that they had the crowd dancing around to catch each tune. And John, who's intriguing, sexy, and mystifying to watch, went out into the crowd and made them feel part of the show and then he took center stage where he coached the crowd into a willing participating rock'n'roll team. I had so much fun at this show, that I had a hard time walking away from it. But I'll need this week to rest up for another night of CherryPie. And John, I truly hope that you're getting better with each passing day. But I know you will, because you're strong and have the fight within you to do so. I'm really looking forward to seeing you back on that stage doing what you know best, and that's, being the rock'n'roll man you are!"

Pam:
