A Word from Josh: Yes, it's Rooterpalooza time once again. This year we were one of three bands to play on the opening night of this prestigious and exciting event. Headwork started things off with a hard rocking set in the banquet room across the hall. The main stage featured the unusual sequence of Cherry Pie, Photograph and then Cherry Pie again to finish the night. Headwork played additional sets during our changeovers so there was always live music going on. To the hundreds of music fans in attendance it was an awesome juggernaut of entertainment. To us it was a technical challenge putting two larger than life bands on one stage. We ended up playing through an interesting combination of equipment. Shane and Kurt shared a bass amp, Dave and Brent shared parts of their respective guitar rigs and Brooke let me play through one of his Marshall cabinets which was quite a treat for me. Doug provided the drums while Frank brought his own cymbals. The spirit of cooperation was vital to pull it all off. The guys in Photograph were wonderful to work with and we tried hard not to be complete assholes. We were in for a wonderful surprise with the unexpected arrival of our original drummer Nick Bartolotta. We dragged him up on stage to play a song with us. It was all part of a feel-good night of great music and great friendship. --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Vixen: "Hey, great show!
