A Word from Josh:
Oh well, you win some you lose some. After enjoying one of our best crowds of the year in Madison last Saturday, we came back down to earth tonight at an uncommonly empty Kelly's II. The dozens in attendance witnessed some of the silliness on stage which is prone to happen when shows get intimate. But no one could have expected the surreal scene that took place at the end of the night when we took the stage for an encore. Frankie grabbed John's mic and attempted a stint as a stand-up comic which consisted mostly of Chuck Norris jokes. When John realized what was going on he jumped behind the drums to add rimshots to the punchlines. It quickly became obvious that the crowd was more interested in rocking out than in amateur night at the Laff Factory. So we spontaneously launched into "You've Got Another Thing Coming" with John on drums and Frankie on lead vocals. It was pretty hilarious. It lasted only through the first verse at which point each band member found their proper place and we did the song right! We had fun and we hope you did too. We especially appreciate the friends who came out to the show from pretty far away.     --Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"Despite the warm weather, it was great to see a small group of people come out for an awesome show. The CP guys put on a show that could only be described as, High Voltage! They played those instruments so hard, that you could feel the vibrations coming through the floor. John, who is talented in so many ways and can surely bring out that wildside of his, gave an outstanding performance that kept everyone entertained until the end. I have to say, this sure was one show that was so energized that it went way too fast, but at the same time, it had that personal feel to it."

c and L:
"Was my first time at the bar, totally enjoyed the night. John is very, very talented and made it a lot of fun to watch the band. Like the smaller crowd, can enjoy the music more. Will be seeing you guys again."

Kat:
