A Word from Josh: We hope everybody has a nice Easter. Now that Lent is over, we are back to eating greasy food, smoking crack and banging hookers. Life is good. Such also seems to be the case for those in attendance at tonight's show. BuBs was more packed than we've seen in a while and the crowd really lit it up all night. That was a very welcome sight indeed and we were determined to deliver the goods. In this case, those goods included a new extended Metallica medley and the return of Dokken's "In My Dreams" after a two year hiatus. I, for one, was really getting off on all this hard-rockin' and it was obvious that I wasn't the only one. The show went very smoothly and the mass of humanity in front of us rewarded us with overwhelming waves of approval. Yes, it was one of those great nights when we stand under the lights in our leather pants getting groped by beautiful women; confident that we've made the right choices in life that have led us to this point. Indeed, for at least one more day, the PIE still rocks! --Josh Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jen: "Great show as always gentlemen!! Thanks for letting me rock the "NO" sign and to all my sexy ladies....LOVE YOU GUYS!!" Lucy: "Show rocked as always! Awesome Saigon Kick tune. Johnny Spandex nailed it! :)" Rene: "This is the second time I saw Cherry Pie perform and I must say that you are my new favorite local band! I LOVE the 80's! Love your hair and outfits too! I can't wait until the next show!" Bittersweeteus: "There's nothing like, Living After Midnight and rockn' to almost dawn! And to put everyone on the Wildside,is CherryPie, who provides the hard rockn' entertainment. Their performance was hard core and to the bone. John, who has an unyielding attitude and the boldness of a raging bull, kept everyone in a state of Metal Health. One thing to remember, you have to Live for Today to spend the night with CherryPie." Motus: "Hey Guys, a typically excellent show once again. This was our first show since rooters on Feb. 24th, and we were in need of some PIE!!! Thank you for delivering. We hope to make it back to Rooters next weekend!!!" |
