*-Debut
A Word from Josh:
Given that Friday is the Fourth of July, the Badger Bowl decided to have a band on Thursday night instead of Friday. They billed it as their "Pre-4th of July Celebration". And, what's more American than big hair and glam rock? The formula seemed to be a successful one as we were able to draw a pretty strong mid-summer crowd. Many people told me that they were very curious to see us with our new drummer. Rico was well-received, as were the two "Debut" songs we played. In fact, we ran through "Cult of Personality" as part of our sound check and the early birds in the room responded quite enthusiastically. During the fist set, one man brought a bunch of dollar bills to the stage and made a song request. "You gotta play some Skynyrd!" he said. "Keep your money," John told him. But this guy didn't give up easy. He continued to badger us about it into the first break, making it difficult for us to shmooze with the babes. The entire show was a lot of fun and included a lot of the usual wild life on the dance floor. At the end of the night the crowd was shouting for an encore. John told them, "OK, we'll do another one, but only if you promise to come to our Summerfest show this Sunday." See ya there.     -Josh

VOICES FROM THE CROWD:
Were you at this show?
Would you like to comment on it?

Bittersweeteus:
"How can I explain it but It kicked ass! They played two new rocking songs and Rico provided the extra energy. Especially at the end of the show with smoke surrounding Rico and the way he was wailing on those drums, it was almost like the drums were on fire!"

sven:
"Rod? Did you see me?...I was bowling in lane 20....I saw you. I saw you in all of your majestic HUGENESS. I want you, I love you!!"

A newbie:
"Saw you boys for the first time....it was like a step back in the past! You are all very professional. I'll be seeing you again soon. Thanks for the fun!"
