A Word from Stef R. (who helped with hair tonight): I'm sure it's been said before, but once again Cherry Pie put on an awesome performance. No doubt about it, Bamboo Bob's loves these guys. By the time the band took the stage, the small bar was packed with people awaiting a night of good times and rock-n-roll. Right from the start the dance floor was crowded with people which didn't let up until the last song was played. If possible, I think it might have been even more crowded for the second set. John did a nice job of mixing up the set list for tonight's show, playing "Rock of Ages" and "Crazy Train" much earlier then usual. I think this helped in getting the crowd revved up for the night. Not that they needed much persuasion. One song that was noticeably MIA for the evening was the very popular sing-a-long song "Wanted Dead or Alive". But, in John's defense, I understand that you need to keep the set lists fresh to keep the fans happy. There were lots of familiar faces in the crowd including Julie, Carrie, Sheila, Patrice, Jodi, Kim, Erika, Maribeth, Tom, Eric, Jeremy and a ton of others that I'm probably forgetting. Oddly enough, there were no birthday celebrations this evening. This may not seem odd to most, but considering last week I think there was about a dozen birthday girls, to not even have one is rare. LOL All in all it was another great show. - Stef Were you at this show? Would you like to comment on it? Jeremy: "Awesome, except for that guy who tried to start a fight with me. Birthday girl, Rebekah was unable to attend. She was the only thing missing from another perfect night of Fun ! Thanks Guys." Bamboo Bob's Beach Club: "The management and staff of Bamboo Bob's Beach Club would like to say thanks to the guys of Cherry Pie as well as all of their fans that came out to the show this last Saturday night. CP puts on a great show and we hope they will come back for a couple of shows next fall." Pete: "Arrived in Milwaukee about a week ago from Florida. To live here !!! Great show in Bamboo Bob's on Saturday. First impression of Milwaukee: ROCKS!!" Kip: "Even though I didn't have the pleasure of a strange girl spanking me like I did at the O'Brien's show, I still had a blast! It was nice meeting Stef and the Smirnoff Ice dancers...I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures!!" Jewelz: "Glad I finally got to see a show at Bamboo Bob's..only next time you guys play there I'll remember to wear alot less clothes....all that dancing got me much hotter than usual!" |
