John reacted with surprise and gratitude at the 300 or so folks who came to this show on the night before Christmas Eve. "Wow" he said from the stage, "I didn't think anybody was going to show up!" Not only did they show up, but they also rocked our world all night. The Holiday spirits helped maintain a wonderful elecricity in the air as our show was full of wonderful moments. One of them was when Connie Aney delivered her home-made Christmas cookies to us on stage (yum yum). Another came when Dawn Farris was invited on stage with a friend for our performance of "Dead or Alive". I never get tired of seeing her dance to that one. During "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'" so many babes packed the stage that I was afraid it would collapse! Tonight also marked the return of prodigal fan Kelley Pronold who has been away at business school in Vancouver. Damn she was looking fine! We were glad to see many of our "East Coast Regulars" who hadn't been able to attend our most recent shows including Maribeth Luedtke, Erika Kaegler, Barb Prueher, Stephanie Roix, Julie Hoffman, Lonnie Stienwal and Chris Stinewal. Some newer faces in the crowd included Marlena Tzakis, Linda Phanhmahavong, Susan Roix, Mike Tatera, Liz Burgan, Kim Moerke, Amy Matezevich, Mark Matezevich, Dan Black, Mary Kay McNew, Jackie Smolarek and Kevin Kehoe. The night went so well that we lost track of time and played until the management turned on all the lights and demanded that we stop. Some people were miffed that we were not allowed time to play "Monkey Business". I guess that they'll have to come to another show to catch that one :-)    -Josh
