A Word from Josh: Badger Bowl has long been a strong room for us and one of the things that makes it special is that a lot of their staff (bartenders, waitresses, security, etc) have become genuine fans of the band and some have become good friends of ours. This vibe was in full glory as this was the night that bartender Sonia was celebrating her birthday with friends including fellow staffers Justin, Karen, Tanya, Becky and John. A lot of other celebrating was going on. My good friend Jenn graduated from nursing school this week and was celebrating with family and friends the best way she knew how... with Cherry Pie! She even got a CP bumper sticker out of it. The Holiday spirit was alive and well as many people exchanged season's greetings and even some gifts while a light blustery snow fell outside. One gift went to Shane as Lisa presented him with a miniature "penis sombrero and poncho". I was told it was part of an "inside joke". I say let's keep it that way. Crew members Brian and Dan demonstrated that they are far more classy than their jobs might suggest when they gave each member of the band a bottle of wine. Thanks guys, you're the greatest. A couple of the band members are going to have the opportunity to return the favor tomorrow night by helping Dan celebrate his 21st birthday. Should be quite a hoot. I can't make it there, but I'm looking forward to hearing about it. I hope they take pictures! - Josh |
