A Word from Josh: Now this is more like it. In sharp contrast to last week's rather uneventful Green Bay show, tonight was very... uh,... eventful! Oh, where do I begin? Well, first there was long-time regular Stef who was celebrating her birthday along with her extended CP Family including Sheila, Julie, Bob, Connie, Scott, Tom, Maribeth, Erika, Barb, Cathy and Dawn. Stef and Sheila also helped get our hair up for the show (thanks gals). Another party going on was centered around the office of Dr. Kory Wagner. The studly Dr. Wagner (I thought doctors only looked like that in soap operas) joined us on stage to play guitar for a song. We helped him fit in by putting a big hair wig on him and then we made him feel at home by wearing surgical masks. It was a hoot. Later on, a woman from Kory's office Justin (Yes, Justin is a woman, quite) joined us to sing a duet with John on "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'". Jim Beau of The Bugs also joined in on guitar. There were other musicians in the crowd including the lovely Binky and Pandora from Binky Tunny and the Farmland Chokehold. Patty, Lynn and Doris were in the Christmas Spirit coming from afar bearing a giant cherry cheesecake and mistletoe (ooo la la). That contributed to our "high calorie" night as club-owner Nick was also providing barbecue sandwiches to one and all. Other familiar faces on the dance floor included Tammy, Chad, Erica, Jess, Lisa and Tiffany. There were a couple hundred other people heating things up all night making the music come alive. Sound like a fun night? Damn right! - Josh |
