We had been looking forward to this gig for a long time. It was quite exciting to play just a couple of blocks from Lambeau Field on a game day. However, when we arrived at 8 AM and saw the stage area being shoveled out of the side of a snow bank, we wondered if having the show outside in a tent on a December day in Wisconsin might be a mistake. During the course of the day all doubt was removed that it was indeed a huge mistake. Aside from this dubious error in judgement, the folks at The Bar treated us very well and provided a lot of hospitality. And the show was certainly not a total loss. Several hundred people saw us play over the course of the day, but the temperature, which started in the mid-20s and dropped from there, took its toll on the rockin' atmosphere both onstage and off as most people wisely stayed inside the bar where it was warm. Sheryl Swanke and Mam Meyer made it up from Ripon to chatch the show. But, not surprisingly, overall there were not many familiar faces in the crowd, but we did seem to gain many new fans. Several die-hard rockers, many warmed by healthy doses of alhocol, supported our efforts as our numb fingers battled against out-of-tune instruments and our tight voices fought the sharp chill in the air. After the show I was in no mood to collect names as I usually do, but I did talk with many people who told me that they look forward to seeing us again under more normal circumstances. Packing up our gear wasn't easy. We had to pry up some of our equipment which was embeded in ice on the ground. After all the work was done I was glad to be able to unwind in the club where I chatted with good friends Barb Engler and Linda Bosetski. The club DJ paid several tributes to Cherry Pie and I met many fun people including Lisa, Robin, Bob, Laura, Mike, Amy, Lori and Glenn. BTW, the Packers beat the Lions 26 to 13 :-)    -Josh
