HOG!!! |
Kudos to Erika Kaegler and Tom Birkenmeyer for attending all three of our shows this week! I'm not sure how or why somebody would do something like that, but we appreciate the strong support. Overall, tonight's show was excellent, an appropriate finale for what has been a very exciting and busy week. The large crowd partied hearty all night including during opening act Dr. Shrinker, who once again got the night started right with an exciting set of rock hits. Some of the other familiar faces in the crowd included Sheila Tate, Stacy Hackl, Lonnie Stinewal, Chris Stinewal, Ann Mehlbrech, Ron Mehlbrech, Connie Aney, Colleen Evans, Lisa Danning, Dale Scott, Stephanie Roix, Julie Hoffman and Debbie Mann. During our first set we did a Birthday Tribute, complete with cake, for Tom "Hog" Hilber who plays drums for Dr. Shrinker and frequently helps Nick out as a roadie. By all accounts Tom enjoyed his birthday thoroughly, although he may not remember much of it. During the second set we may have broken our own band record for most beautiful women dancing on stage during "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'". It was pretty crowded for a while, and we loved every second of it. Several fellow musicians were in the crowd including Cami Morgan of Generation Dance, John and Marc of Block Party and members of the Boogie Men. Some of the new faces in the crowd included Julie Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Erin Galetka, Toni Doriot, Tressa Barinak, Todd Barinak, Brian Barinak, Veronica Hopf, John Gehring, Mark Case, Ryan Westcot, Lisa Tortorice, Judy Hal, Denise Mondry, Chip Danning and Todd James. It is not surprising the the night went so well. We've been playing at Rooters a lot lately and things keep getting better and better. Our next time there will be on New Year's Eve and there is already a lot of buzz about it. That should be an unbelieveably great time. 'Hope to see you there :-) -Josh |
