A Word from Josh: I'm pretty sure this was the most people we've ever drawn to this particular room. Thanks to those of you who came out. It was a great time for us, and it seems for most of you too. Yet again, I'd say the highlight of the evening was the multiple bumper stickers applied to the "bumpers" of several young ladies, each of whom was claiming to be celebrating a birthday this week. The sticky buttocked honorees included Jenny who was brought to the show for her 21st birthday all the way from Fond du Lac by some friends who thought that the Cherry Pie treatment was just what the doctor ordered. Another birthday girl was Amazonian beauty Erin (I've never wanted to be a bumper sticker more in my life). Notable items in our setlist included the return of "Fantasy" and "Monkey Business" which was done as an encore after getting a lot of requests for it from big, scary lookin' dudes all night. I'm always amazed when we can remember how to play songs after so long. We were very happy with the strong turnout and the enthusiastic support. If you're going to be in town on the night before Thanksgiving we hope you'll consider coming out to our show at Kelly's Bleachers II where there's room for plenty more. - Josh |
