A Word from Maribeth (Birthday Girl):
This was another great show with no exceptions. The guys always amaze me. They were full of energy. The stage is big and gave the guys plenty of room to move around. John was all over the stage and he also took advantage of sitting on the banister. He also went out into the crowd for a couple of songs. However, his microphone stand was possessed, it kept falling down all night. You are right John, its time for a new one. LOL This was my third time up at Bases Loaded in Fond du Lac. I always seem to have fun there. The last time we were there we celebrated Josh’s birthday. This time it was my turn. I came up with my friend Erika. What a surprise when I arrived. I saw my good friend Barb (from Sheboygan). She also is another Cherry Pie loyal fan. I hadn’t seen her for a long time. Don’t be stranger Barb, hope to see you again soon. Shelly and Karen also were there from Sheboygan. Shelly was celebrating her birthday too. Another person I recognized enjoying the show was BJ from the band Liquid Crush. During the second set my friends presented me with a birthday cake on stage. I also got the usual slap on the ass with a bumper sticker. I want to thank the kind gentleman for buying me a birthday drink. Lets not only recognize the band for a great show, but also the crew behind the scenes that help make the guys' show so great. The guys working the video screen did an awesome job using creative visual tricks such as mirror and negative imaging. Thanks for the great night CP. It was a lot of fun. See you all soon. - Maribeth |
