A Word from Josh:
Jeeesh, it was a hot day. We took the stage at 6 PM in front of a scattered crowd of early-bird festival goers and several dozen ducks who walked around near the stage seemingly jazzed by the loud music. Soon enough however, the ducks took to the lake as we managed to attract a large crowd within the first few minutes of our set. As the audience increased, our bodily fluids decreased. Did I mention it was hot? Our tight leather and big hair sucked the sweat from our bodies like SpongeBob SquarePants. Empty water bottles piled up on the stage throughout the set, keeping us going during a rockin' good time. We were disappointed when we were asked to shorten our set from 2 hours to 90 minutes, but afterward we were glad because we left it all out on the stage. "I don't think I could have lasted 2 hours" said John afterward. Did I mention it was hot? Overall, our set seemed very well received and we seemed to fit right in on a very exciting festival day. The management and staff at the stage were very hospitable to us. After ringing out and packing up our gear we were able to enjoy the rest of the evening with various family and friends. The legendary Blue Oyster Cult took the stage after us and put on a swell show under the lights to several thousand fans (you gotta love "Godzilla"). And, oh yeah, did I mention it was hot?     - Josh
