A Word from Josh: Normally I would suggest to anybody that wearing leather pants on a hot summer afternoon is not a good idea. Yet, as I explained to a Moosapalooza staff member, we are band that always does everything we can to give audiences as much of the "complete package" as possible. We played one 75 minute set under a canopy in the hot mid-July sun to a sun-worshipping crowd that seemed to appreciate our effort. But let's face it. It was just too early in the day to really get things going Cherry Pie style, and then all too soon, our set was over and we bellied up to the air conditioned bar with many of the patrons. Bands were playing throughout the day on stages both inside and out of the Club Tavern. The entertainment got underway at 1 PM on the outdoor stage with our good friends Supertuesday. They did a very nice job but they did wear shorts (wimps!). BTW, Supertuesday will be just down the beltline headlining the Dane County Fair next Friday night (7/19) beginning at 8 PM. We will be headlining the fair the following night (Saturday, 7/20). It should be a great weekend. - Josh |
