A Word from Josh: It couldn't have been a more beautiful day, ideal for a carnival festival like this. We were the second of four bands that played in the giant beer tent throughout the afternoon and evening. Of course the line-up was anchored by the legendary Night Ranger which we were very excited about. We knew it would be our type of crowd, but we played so early in the day that the crowd was a bit thinner than we had hoped. Daylight prevented us from having our usual spectacular light show and we all lacked sleep following last night's show. Still, the promoter and the stage crew really helped us put on the show that was expected of us and made it a lot of fun. After our brief sets we all kicked back and enjoyed what had become a beautiful night. We signed a lot of autographs and shmoozed with all sorts of VIPs backstage and rock fans out in the crowd. Portage really knows how to put on a festival and we were honored to be a part of it. - Josh |
