This was a night of extremes. Several things went wrong for us including several minor equipment failures of all types. In addition, we played like shit. No kidding, our performance was about as bad as we've ever done. Plus, the weather sucked :-( But, you know what? We had a great time anyway, thanks to a crowd that rocked our asses off right from the first (poorly played) song. To put it mildly, they were a very "forgiving" audience which kept us is a good mood all night despite our problems. In fact, thanks to the people who came to see us, we had an absolute blast. The crowd, which was much larger than our last trip to Illusion's, included Barb Prueher, Maribeth Luedtke, Adam Johnson, Erika Keagler, Kelly McClure, Lisa Kelm, Chris Stinewal, Lonnie Stinewal, Lonnie's cousin Candy, Stephanie Roix, Kelly Pronold, Debbie Hackl and Shane Laughlin. Special thanks go to Stacy Hackl and Sheila Tate for helping getting our hair ready for the show (one of the few things that did NOT go wrong for us). Musicians in the crowd included Tom Birkenmeyer, Brian Johnston of Heavy Nova, Scott from Katella and John from Wall Street who joined us on stage for a song. There was also a group of noisy folks who had seen us for the first time last week in Green Bay. Speaking of travel, Julie Draski came up from Chicago to see us again, this time bringing along her husband Rick and friends Lisa Robertson, Dave Bormann, Art Haralambopolous and Lisa Haralambopolous. Dozens of people spent time on stage with us as the dance floor overflowed all night. It was awesome. After the show I was amused by a comment from a woman who told me that she had just seen the band for the first time and liked it a lot. She added that she had heard of us before, but was wary about seeing a band called "Cherry Pie" because she thought that it might be a "Lesbian Band". Well, I guess she was partially right. After all, we often feel like lesbians trapped in men's bodies :-)    -Josh
