A Word from Josh: Fantazia continues to be a great room for us, always providing hundreds of party animals who don't go home until after we're done playing. Tonight's revelry was helped by a "Leather & Lace" promotion where women decked out in sexy outfits competed for prizes including top-notch Harley-Davidson merchandise. In the set-list department, we debuted "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor accompanied by footage from Rocky III on our video screen. It was pretty cool. Throughout the night, a few people had been bugging us to come up on stage to dance with the band. Unfortunately, we couldn't allow much of that because of safety concerns (lots of explosives on stage you know). But this was all made up for during the encore. With all of the pyro spent we signaled a couple of ladies that they could come join us, and that opened up the floodgates. Within seconds, the stage was filled with babes, nearly crowding us out completely. From back at my keyboards I couldn't even see my bandmates. I'm not complaining, mind you. This is the kind of thing that led us to guitar lessons in the first place. - Josh |
