A Word from Josh:
THE GOOD: Another great show packed with an enthusiastic crowd that rocked our collective ass from the first note. A good mix of familiar friends and fresh faces made it easy for us to keep the energy flowing and put on a pretty good show. We debuted "Lick It Up" by Kiss which, quite predictably, got Danny Black very excited as he started dancing on top of the bar. Dawn Farris, Tammy Rehak and friends did their traditional stage dances during Bon Jovi songs which is always a treat. We were glad to see Erika Kaegler who had been battling a nasty case of pneumonia for the last several weeks. She looked great and seemed to be having a great time.

THE BAD: Bamboo Bob's is a small room that can't hold much more than 200 people. While we are certainly enjoying our latest wave of increased popularity, tonight it worked against us as the bar had to turn many people away at the door. It's very unfortunate that we seemed to have "outgrown" this place because we really like it and the management has always treated us very well. I hope that people weren't too inconvenienced and will come to another show soon.

THE UGLY: We've spoken often about how much we get off on big exciting crowds at our shows, and for most of the night, this show was awesome in that regard. But again, too much of a good thing seemed to turn against us as in the second set some people went too far. A lot of misguided testosterone combined with massive quantities of alcohol led some people to behave downright recklessly causing us concern for the safety of people on the dance floor and for our equipment. The bar had to get security people involved to protect the front of the stage and some people were kicked out. You know, it only takes a few people who lack respect for others to cause problems and take some of the fun out of an event like this. I trust that this will be the exception and not the rule for future shows. Most of our fans certainly know how to party right and they prove it every weekend.     - Josh
