Birthday Gals |
A Word from Josh: This was our second time in this room and we came in hoping that the night would be as good as the first time. Well, it certainly was. These folks at Fantazia really get into the show, and boy are they LOUD. One of the best examples of this came late in "Dead or Alive" when John sang the line "I've seen a million faces" and then held the microphone out over the crowd for a rousing "...and I've rocked them all!" which rose above the drums and screaming guitars. It was totally awesome. Another thing that was the same as our first visit was the skimpy outfits on the sexy bartenders and waitresses. John implored the crowd to tip them generously so that they can buy more clothes. During the night we brought up several birthday gals including two close friends of ours Jasmine and Sheila. An unusual moment occurred late in the night when Shane noticed an attractive young lady on the dance floor answer her cell phone which she pulled out of her cleavage when she felt it vibrate. He brought her on stage to ask for her phone number because he wanted to "reach out and touch someone." This is one of the few rooms where the crowd intensity doesn't fade toward the end of the night. In fact, it seems to just get more wild. As we finished our last song the still-packed room roared as loud as ever. Unfortunately, amidst all the fun and hijinx, we had lost track of time and were running late. The house lights came up indicating that we would not be allowed to do any encores. Oh well, we'll be just down the road in Wind Lake next Saturday for those who didn't get quite enough. 'See you then. - Josh |
