A Word from Dave:
It was one year ago this weekend that Cherry Pie made its debut at Dinero's in Milwaukee. Well, that club is no longer around, but we're still here and having a great time. So on our one year anniversary we were all hoping for a great night and we got just that! It seems like every time we play Badger Bowl the crowd gets bigger and a lot more enthusiastic. This was proven once again as the dance floor was hoppin' from the very first note until the last. Although most of our regulars were not able to make the trek to Madison, it appears that we may be gaining quite a few local Cherry Pie enthusiasts. Some of the familiar faces in the crowd were Jim Hershey, Eric Franco, Sandy Franco, Lora Lange, Dave Shanklin, John Benson, Jennifer Cupp, Sandy Cullen, Judy, Becky Anderson, Mike Radke, Tanya Pisarek, Sharon Rowley, Jim Chiello of Impulse, Dave Cobb of Cobz Web and Tyson from Nightmare's End. There was even one woman waiting in our dressing room when we finished insisting that she couldn't go home until she saw the band naked - what more could you ask for in a night? The evening also marked the second collaboration between Cherry Pie, Sound Engineer Doug Tracy and Light Tech Bill Kirch. We have nothing but praise for the job they did. And as always providing the fireworks for the evening was the sixth member of Cherry Pie - our very own destructive force John "OJ" Guardalabene. Although we didn't exactly throw ourselves an anniversary bash, the people of Madison made it a memorable night.    -Dave

P.S. Ever wonder what "OJ" stands for? First correct answer wins a Cherry Pie T-shirt.
